Our studio writes, shoots and finishes original films and series, and our streaming platform brings them — alongside the boldest voices on the continent — to screens everywhere.

A golden age for African cinema
African cinema is one of the fastest-growing film industries in the world. The continent now produces well over a thousand feature films every year, and streaming has opened a global audience that never existed before. Nigerian cinema alone is the second-largest film industry on Earth by volume, and its stories travel to viewers on every continent.
Yet much of that abundance hides a broken pipeline. Few cinemas, patchy distribution, and limited finishing infrastructure mean too many great films never reach the audiences they deserve. WIMPRO exists to close that gap — to finance, finish and stream African stories professionally, end to end.
